Operations / Project Manager (North) Job Specification
Management role reporting to Directors working in line with General Manager. A vehicle, fuel card, smart phone and lap top will be provided.
Branch, Site and home-based role (multiple sites at any one time), candidate to preferably live within a 30-minute drive of Northern Branch. Candidate must be prepared to travel to different locations daily and for nights away from home every.
Candidate must have extensive ‘hands on’ practical experience in the construction and house building sectors, having worked with customers and sub-contractors at all levels to deliver and install projects. Will be a customer facing role as well as an internal management role. A background in glazing would probably be helpful
Sunrock Balconies projects range from £2k domestic installations to £100k commercial projects mostly in the North of England and North Wales.
Line Management of 4/5 engineers Project Management - day to day Engineer Scheduling (working with General Manger) Sub-Contractor Management Managing Engineer Training (Internal and External) Engineer Appraisals Day to Day Implementation of Health & Safety Management System Production of RAMS (must be SMSTS Trained – Construction Design Management 2015)
Technical Support: • Gathering Test Data and Calcs for Building Control from suppliers • Production of O&M Info
Project Design / Drawings (AutoCAD or similar): • Scheme drawings (when required)
Project Handover from Sales Site Surveys, design approval – contribution to re-costs if required Project Handover to Engineers Customer Liaison - pre-start, design approval, problem solving, continuity, sign off Producing Project Programs in line with production, clients phasing drawings/programme
Project Delivery: • VE requests / Scope Changes / Updates • On Budget • On Time
