Assistant Safety Officer - Construction

Full Job Description

Salary upto 35k DOE. Flexibility to work from home with site visits. Safety Officers are responsible for planning, implementing and overseeing company's employee safety at work, and the clients of the Company. The main duty is to

a) ensure that the client company complies and adheres to their Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines, good practice, the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 etc. and all relevant regulations relating to the Clients business.

b) Bring to our client and company anything which might place either company at risk, those employed or who work with same, or yourself.

  • Specialist, technical and practical health and safety advice.

  • NEBOSH Construction

  • CSCA Professional Qualified Person

  • Able to collect and analyse a wide range of data and present to a range of different audiences using appropriate formats. Strong IT skills - Microsoft Office 365 applications.

  • Knowledge of Safety and legal regulations

  • Competent to write, draft, comment upon risk and method statements

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year Benefits:
