Business Development Manager in Construction £40,000 - £60,000 plus benefits Luton hybrid and travel
My Client My client is a construction firm based in Luton offering a one stop shop to commercial contracts and private developers. They offer a wide range of services ranging from our patented engineered foundation systems and underpinning. They have their own in-house design team comprised of Structural and Geotechnical Engineers, providing underwritten design solutions across all our services. They also have their own plant hire business providing specialist and bespoke equipment to the group and wider external market. Their ethos is to provide a fully integrated service for our customers, providing support from conception through to construction. They always seek to provide the most cost-effective solution for projects, through innovation, product development, and a wealth of experience gained from 30+ years working in the industry.
The role As a business development manager, you will be responsible for: · forging strong relationships with clients and the community. · Creating sales opportunities with old and new clients. · Focusing on building and sustaining relationships with clients. · Being patient to work on the long term development of a network and database of candidates. · Working within timeframes to write proposals, complete tenders and close sales. · Selling additional products from breeze blocks to plant hire
Requirements and benefits Please only apply for this role if you have experience in BDM in construction. A background in engineering (civil) will also be a benefit. You will be rewarded with a competitive salary and benefits including car allowance. This is based in Luton but hybrid/remote working is involved as is travel.
