Cabinet Maker / Joiner - Workshop Manager
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 with potential to earn more in the future
Hours: 9am - 5pm with look to be flexible in the future
Perm Role
Location: LLandarcy, Neath
The ideal candidate will have a background in cabinet making. Have pride in their work and be able to teach others and understanding of materials.
The company is willing to pay for a teaching qualification.
Responsibilities:
- Construct and assemble cabinets based on provided schematics and blueprints - Use various tools and equipment to cut, shape, and finish cabinet components - Install cabinets in accordance with project specifications - Ensure cabinets are level, plumb, and properly aligned
Experience: - Previous experience in the cabinet making or woodworking industry is required - Familiarity with CNC machines and their operation is a plus - Knowledge of different types of wood and their characteristics - Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings - Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship - Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues that may arise during construction
