As they continue to grow, they are seeking a talented and experienced Contracts Manager with expertise in asbestos management to join their team. Position Overview: As a Contracts Manager with Asbestos Experience, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all aspects of our contracts related to asbestos abatement and remediation projects. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safe and successful execution of projects, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the highest level of client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Lead and manage asbestos abatement and remediation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with asbestos regulations, codes, and standards, and ensure that all projects comply with local, state, and federal asbestos regulations.

  • Client Communication: Establish and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the main point of contact and addressing any concerns or inquiries related to asbestos projects.

  • Budget and Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor project expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and safety standards.

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor project teams, including site supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors, to ensure efficient project execution and safe work practices.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure project success and safety.

  • Reporting: Prepare and present project status reports, financial reports, and performance metrics to senior management and clients.

  • Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure that all asbestos projects meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Construction Management, Environmental Science, etc.).

  • Proven experience in contracts management, specifically in asbestos abatement and remediation projects.

  • Strong knowledge of asbestos regulations and industry best practices.

  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.

  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., MS Office, project management software).
