Manage and develop client relationships: as required maintain regular communication and run / attend meetings with clients and their representatives. As well as communicating with any consultants, subcontractors, planners, quantity surveyors and others involved in the project

Main Tasks and Accountabilities1.Overall accountability for projects, ensuring the project is delivered on time and budget:·Directly manage a portfolio of complex projects and initiatives· Develop and deliver Project Management processes to include: creating and maintaining project programmes and monitoring progress against programme; updating schedules and trackers; creating risk and cost management plans; checking design documents with architects and engineers; preparing detailed reports as required· Work with Commercial Operations Manager, Production Operations Manager, and Site Agents to plan construction operations and schedule works to ensure deadlines will be met 2.Work with the Site Agent to manage the construction site on a day-to-day basis, including supervising the labour force, monitoring subcontractors, checking materials, inspecting work and overseeing health and safety, environmental and quality control3.Manage assigned relationships with suppliers and sub-contractors to negotiate prices (as required) and ensure all contracts are delivered Key Result Areas The postholder will be expected to: 1.Carry out allocated tasks competently and professionally within determined timescales, and financial budgets 2.Effectively manage projects, in complex stakeholder environments 3.Successfully manage and progress tasks at different project stages 4.Adhere to agreed practice, procedures and technical standards 5.Communicate with all functions relevant to the delivery of projects, in a clear, positive and effective manner to help build an integrated team to facilitate the achievement of project objectives 6.Assist in the achievement of Beattie Passive objectives and targets Person Specification ExperienceE=Essential D=Desirable Criteria D Relevant construction qualifications E Proven experience as Construction Project Manager / Contracts Manager Skills, knowledge and aptitudes 1.Interest in low energy technology and sustainability in the housing sector 2.Experience in Timber Frame construction In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material and project management principles Familiarity with environmental, quality and health and safety standards 3.Familiarity with construction / project management software 4.Microsoft Office Proficiency 5.Excellent organizational and time-management skills Flexible and able to plan and carry out workload to meet tight deadlines Attention to detail when developing documents and reports Job Type: Full-time Salary: £25,000.00-£50,000.00 per year Work Location: In person Reference ID: Nationwide
