Contracts Manager – Piling
£35,000 - £50,000 + Car / Allowance

About the company
My client have been operating for over 25 years and offer a full design and build service for piles and reinforced concrete foundations for small developments, basements and extensions. During this time they have become experts in tackling restricted areas with mini piling rigs, and also in environmentally friendly electric silent piling rigs. They operate throughout London and the Home Counties, covering all areas in and around the M25.
The role:
This a new role that my client is offering due to significant recent business growth. They are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple projects and jobs and liase with a variety of people, including clients, site managers and subcontractors.
Duties:
Daily tasks will change depending on the day and the project but can consist of:
· Managing multiple contracts simultaneously
· Weekly site visits throughout London and the South-East
· Overseeing teams on each site
· Control of own and hired in plant
· Performing Audits and quality checks
· Some surveying work including costings
· Liaising with Clients, Subcontractors, Site Managers.
Requirements:
· Previous experience working as a Contracts Manager
· Relevant experience within the piling and groundworks industry
· Full UK driving license.
· Ability to prioritise tasks to meet changing business needs.
· Experience of working within established build programs.
· Assertive to ensure delivery of targets by the on-site team and trades/labour.
· Ability to prioritise tasks to meet changing business needs.
