Position: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Salary Range: €40,000 - €90,000
Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for an exciting opportunity in Dublin's dynamic construction industry? We are currently seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join a reputable company based in Dublin, working on a range of exciting construction projects. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage project cost estimates and budgets.
Conduct cost analysis and cost control throughout construction projects.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure cost-effective solutions and value for money.
Prepare tender documents and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
Monitor and manage variations and changes to contracts.
Provide accurate and timely financial reports to project stakeholders.
Assess and mitigate commercial risks.
Maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Foster positive relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Building and Civil Engineering industry.
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
Proven track record in successfully managing costs on construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., CostX, Excel).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Membership or eligibility for membership with a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS, SCSI) is a plus.
