We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum, plus benefits such as pension, health care and training. You will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects ranging from £20,000 to £5m.
We are a leading civil and ground work contractor, delivering high-quality projects across Portsmouth. We are looking for a junior quantity surveyor to join our team and assist our senior quantity surveyors in managing the cost and contractual aspects of our projects.

As a junior quantity surveyor, you will be responsible for:
Assisting in preparing cost estimates and budgets for projects
Assisting in monitoring and controlling project expenditure and cash flow
Assisting in preparing and reviewing invoices, claims and variations
Assisting in managing risks and resolving disputes
Assisting in reporting on project performance and progress
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
A degree or equivalent qualification in quantity surveying or a related field, or be studying towards one
A valid driving licence and willingness to travel
Experience or interest in working with civil and ground work projects
Knowledge of relevant standards, regulations and contracts
Good communication, negotiation and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
