Excellent role on offer for a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in building services, to join a busy, growing company, working on a variety of projects from concept to installation.

This company is a well-established company that specialise in design and build work of Combustion Engineering, as well as other building services projects, including healthcare and education buildings. Due to their continued growth and work lined up, they are looking for a Design Engineer to join their tight-knit design team, offering training and progression for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will have Mechanical Design Engineering experience in Building Services, using 2D AutoCAD software and Revit/Solidworks. This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic company, working on a variety of contracts. They will need lots of design experience
Duties
Undertake the design of Mechanical Services either from a site survey or scheme report, drafting drawings, undertaking calculations using IES and production of specifications. Undertake mechanical surveys. Liaise with in-house Electrical, CAD and Secretarial staff to enable the production process and meet the needs of the business. Operate ACad and BIM systems. Undertake training in relation to REVIT MEP. Undertake condition assessments. Production of PPM Surveys and Reports. Tutor and mentor junior staff. Carry out project management duties including acting as lead consultant, chairing meetings and the production of minutes. Undertake defects inspections and issue appropriate certification. Write and produce operation and maintenance manuals. Production of SBem and Sap Calculations.
