Project Coordinator - Northampton•Hybrid remote

Technical Coordinator – Auto Cad experience is essential.

£45,000 per annum plus excellent benefits

Northampton – Hybrid working.

My client is a growing, successful developer who build high end houses in the Leicestershire and Northamptonshire area. They are looking for an experienced Technical Coordinator to join their award-winning company. They would also look at appointing an Architectural Technician who would be keen to progress in a Technical Coordinator position.

The role:

The successful candidate will work out of the Corby office and will report into the Technical Manager. It is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work for a company who has ambitious targets and is already achieving them. You will work within the technical team to coordinate information between external consultants and internal departments throughout the construction process.

Coordinating the design process commercial, contractual, programme / time awareness and technical expertise.

  • Supporting, understanding, and advising the client as to the requirements and his / her obligations in the development of a building design.

  • Ensuring the design process recognises current legislation, standards and codes of practice, where appropriate.

  • Ensuring design information is of the right quality and keeps pace with project timescales.

  • Striving to eliminate health and safety risks during construction.

  • The Technical Coordinator will coordinate the design process from pre-construction through to final completion, dealing with sub-contractors and on-site issues as well as attending meetings and managing the progress of the project.

Requirements:

  • AutoCAD experience

  • The ability to drive the process and ensure that the project is cost and time effective will be key.

  • The ideal candidate will have a housing background either from a developer or a main contractor.

Benefits:

22 days holiday plus statutory.

Car allowance could be considered.

Death in service

Hours are 8.30am – 5pm but could be flexible.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
