Quantity Surveyor - NEC & JCT contracts

Salary Range: £35,000 - £52,000 per annum + Car Allowance
Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with JCT & NEC amendment experience, looking for a new and exciting opportunity in the construction industry? We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our clients team in Leeds as a Quantity Surveyor. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring all aspects of materials, labor, and equipment are considered.
Conduct thorough cost analysis, identifying potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient project delivery.
Monitor project progress, tracking costs and financial performance against the established budget.
Prepare and evaluate tender documents, contracts, and variations in line with industry standards and regulations.
Provide expert advice on cost management and contractual matters to ensure project success.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
Must have experience with JCT and NEC contacts.
Proficient knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and cost management.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., Excel, cost estimation software, project management tools).
Chartered status with a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS) is a plus.
