Quantity Surveyor - Temp services -Mechanical / Electrical Salary: £40,000 - £85,000 Location: Andover Company Hunter Mason Consulting Ltd Hunter Mason's client is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their well-established business. Starting 1996, they have seen continuous growth of typically around 10% but some years as high as 20% and have now become one of the top 5 largest businesses in their sector with an annual turnover of £7.25M. The successful candidate will have the experience and skills set to work on large accounts and manage the cashflow between themselves and a small team of 1 trainee and one freelance QS. Most of the work is based in and around London with the tube networks, with around 15% of the work in Birmingham; Kent and south coast. Responsibilities: · Raise and review monthly application s to clients. · Monitor the margins of the output valuations and maintain a 40% GP margin on each project. · Monitor the cash flow and maintain at least a 35% collections of the aged debtors each month. · Attend regular meetings with clients to keep ensure there a no hiccups along the payment path when submissions are valued. · Assist junior members of the team to achieve the best outcome on commercial matters. · Review and issue of quotations to clients , review content with contracts managers to ensure everything has been captured and negotiate to secure works. · Weekly meeting in head office.
