Our commitment to excellence and client satisfaction sets us apart in the industry. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor with roofing experience to join our team.
As a Quantity Surveyor with roofing experience, you will play a critical role in managing the financial aspects of our roofing projects. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Conducting detailed cost estimates, bill of quantities, and material take-offs for roofing projects.
Collaborating with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure accurate cost planning and budget control.
Performing cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
Monitoring project progress, assessing variations, and providing accurate cost reports to stakeholders.
Conducting regular site visits to evaluate work progress, material usage, and adherence to project specifications.
Reviewing subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.
Negotiating contracts and agreements with subcontractors and suppliers.
Assisting in the preparation and evaluation of tender documents.
Keeping up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and market trends related to roofing materials and costs.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably with a focus on roofing projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and roofing systems.
Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Detail-oriented with a strong ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
