Salary is £60K-£75k (Negotiable dependant on experience).
Reporting directly to the Contracts Director.
An insight into the day-to-day role and responsibilities:
1 Prepare Schedules / Scopes of Works - whether Budget Costs or Fixed Price Contract Sums. 2 Retain and grow relationships with trusted and reliable specialist sub-contractors. 3 Ensuring best price is achieved at all times. 4 Management of sites to ensure all projects are delivered on time, on budget and to a high standard. 5 Responsibility for compliance with Building Regs and Health & Safety / CDM on each site. 6 Presenting Scopes & Costs & Project Programmes to end-user clients with the Project Director. 7 Running Client and Sub-Contractor regular (weekly) site meetings, and Minuting and distributing if required. 8 Liaison with Building Managers and compliance with Tenant Fitout guidelines. 9 Report in to the Contracts Director, on a regular, daily basis. 10 Responsibility for project managing a number of projects at any one time. 11 Develop and maintain a strong relationship with the Lead Designer for each project. 12 Arranging site visits with sub-contractors and clients and their appointed consultants (IT / telecoms). 13 Responsible for managing and preparing Client Variation Orders and Final Accounts on each project. 14 Responsible for placing orders with all vendors and liaising with the Contracts Director for the sequencing of specialist trades, longer lead time items and site deliveries.
