I am currently recruiting for a Senior Site Manager to join a reputable, well-known Construction Contractor based in East Sussex. The Senior Site Manager will be working on a range of projects covering a variety of sectors including Heritage, Commercial, Residential and Education. My client are renowned across the South of the UK for their high standards of work, and pride themselves on this enviable reputation that they have developed for themselves.
The successful Senior Site Manager will have experience of running, and delivering on time, projects ranging in value from £500k - £6m in a range of sectors. As a result, it is important that the Senior Site Manger possesses a varied background that covers a variety of sectors. Duties will include, but not be limited to, managing sub-contractors, working closely with Surveyors, liaising with clients and, most importantly, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget and with zero defects.
Due to the nature of the role, the Senior Site Manager will need to hold a CSCS card as well as SMSTS & First Aid Certification. A solid understanding of the current H&S requirements will also be important, as will a proven track record of working for a Main Contractor on a variety of projects.
