HSalary upto 50k DOE + Company Van + Fuel Card
The ideal candidate will have HSEQ Advisory experience in one of the following sectors:
Industrial
Mechanical Engineering (Welding, Plating, Pipefitting ect.)
Scaffolding
Thermal Insulation
Location/Base: Working from S/E Regional offices or Client Sites:
Reporting Line: Reports to the SHEQ Manager
Job Summary: To provide competent advice on matters relating to health & safety in accordance with Reg. 7 of the Management of Health & Safety at Work regulations 1999 and on matters relating to Environmental and Quality Management.
To advise on measures to reduce and control risk in relation to Safety, Health Environment & Quality; to facilitate co-operation and communication in such matters.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
To assist in executing and fulfilling the requirements of the company’s Safety, Health, Environment & Quality Policies
To organise and manage workload based on SHEQ Manager’s, Client & Contract Managers’ / Site Supervisors expectations and as a result of active and reactive monitoring; to act in an independent professional manner
To advise and assist in the planning & implementing of the company’s policies, procedures, processes and practices taking into account the nature of the hazards, the risk presented by them and identifying and implementing reasonably practicable control measures
To undertake active monitoring in the form of site visits with regard to compliance with the company SHEQ Site Plan procedures
To carry out accident investigation with a view to identifying route causes, identifying remedial actions to minimize the risk of recurrence and monitor close out of all actions
