Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to join their team for a 24-month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the management and successful execution of Drylining projects in London. As a Site Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate Drylining projects from inception to completion.
Collaborate with project stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and project progress.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site at all times.
Monitor project schedules and budgets, making necessary adjustments to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
Lead, motivate, and manage on-site teams to achieve project goals and maintain high levels of productivity.
Perform quality control inspections to ensure work meets established standards and specifications.
Problem-solve and address any issues or obstacles that may arise during the course of the project.
Maintain accurate project documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of proven site management experience in the construction industry.
Specific experience in Drylining projects is essential, either from a trade skill background or working with Drylining sub-contractors.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, procedures, and best practices.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Relevant construction qualifications and certifications are a plus.
