Site Manager - Graduate £30,000 - £40,000 (Depending on experience, Package Negotiable)

My Client has over 14 years of experience in numerous sub-structure piled solutions, full earthworks, and groundwork packages. They offer specialist labour and plant supply to various industry sectors and offer the complete package to whatever is required. The Client boasts extensive experience in in both pre-planned and reactive/emergency works in many industry sectors and have consistently delivered high quality schemes, below budget and ahead of schedule to their ever-growing client base. The role: My Client is looking to hire a Graduate Site Manager to start ASAP, who has the relevant degrees. This is a new role that is on offer due to significant recent business growth and a massive increase in available work and new projects. They are looking for a new or recent graduate who is looking to begin their career with one of the fastest growing building and civils companies in the UK. Duties: Daily tasks will change depending on the day and the project but can consist of: · Manage activities on site, ensuring that the highest standards of health and safety are maintained at all times. · To liaise with and develop a working partnership with the Contracts Manager and Quantity Surveyor working alongside you on any particular project. · To take ownership of your project from pre-commencement up to hand over and completion · Supervise and effectively manage all contractors and labour forces on site to consistently deliver value to the highest standard of quality of work. · Manage all staff to ensure they carry out their responsibilities to the required standards and appropriate resources, plant and material are available. · Ensure all works are carried out and monitored in accordance with the company safety policy and procedures and in accordance with current legislation's, regulations and environmental standards. · Advise on improving health and safety management practices. · Introduce and innovate good working practices at site level to benefit all those on site. · Monitor the project, ensuring it has the correct resources to be completed to the required quality standards and ‘Right First Time’ culture, within the agreed timescales. · Ensure client satisfaction with the work process in delivering a defect free result. Requirements:

  • Degree level qualification (engineering/construction or project management desirable).

  • Experience in administration or similar projects coordinator role (desirable).

  • Delivery of wider facilities management services (desirable).

  • Experience in finance roles (desirable).

  • Experience in construction or project management (desirable).

  • Interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong influencing skills.

  • Ability to inspire confidence.

  • Can manage a high degree of variability.

  • High degree of integrity.

  • Highly motivated and self-aware.

  • Highly organized with attention to detail.

  • Results focused.
