Site Supervisor- MEP experience
Northampton
£40,000-£50,000
My client are an established and growing electrical services provider seeking an
additional working site supervisor (non-working project dependant) to join our team.
The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of the electrical industry and
be experienced and confident in managing day to day site requirements. This is an
amazing opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Electrician seeking and ready
for a step-up.
The Person
Good people management.
Self-motivated, punctual, and reliable.
Willingness to travel.
From time-to-time lodge near long distance sites if required.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Responsibilities MATERIALS
Order materials Project/Contract Manager.
Record materials ordered and received and update log daily.
Check delivery quantities against delivery notes and report all discrepancies inc ‘to follow’ items to
project/contract manager.
Log materials to be returned to the project/contract manager in a timely fashion whilst the job is live.
LABOUR
Manage day to day Labour tasks ensuring program constraints are being met.
Check & report quality issues across all disciplines under SEC remit.
Record Labour levels (keep a daily sign in and out book).
Sign agency time sheets and send a picture to project/contract manager for cost tracking.
DELAYS
Photograph with date stamp any delays.
Keep a diary of delays and send to project/contract manager.
VARIATIONS
Inform the project/contract manager of all variations before the work has been carried out.
SAFETY
Report safety issues and lease with project/contract manager.
Fill out Site Safety folder (daily permits/ weekly toolbox talks)
Assist in safe isolation procedure where required.
Ensure circuits are tested before energizing and results recorded. (When tester not on site).
CUSTOMER RELATIONS
Attend site meetings and take minutes where required.
Respond to emails in a timely manner. Project/Contract manager will deal with the wider picture.
Liaise with builder.
Qualifications
Electricians NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation + AM2.
City & Guilds 2382-15 – 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Supervisors Site Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS).
A full driving license, valid to drive in the UK.
