Job Title: Working Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of construction workers on various projects
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate execution of construction plans
- Oversee quality control measures to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects
- Provide guidance and training to team members on construction techniques and safety protocols
- Monitor progress and productivity of the team, making adjustments as necessary to meet project deadlines
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any potential issues or hazards on the job site
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked by the team
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a working supervisor or similar role in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks accordingly
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control and adherence to project specifications
- Proficient in using construction tools and equipment
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the construction industry
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
